Variable resistance device i.e. it can be used either horizontally or vertically in the water in push/pull style exercises. Foam covered handle to prevent over gripping. Builds muscle strength in arms and shoulders. An alternative to the traditional water dumbbell.

Can also be used to teach the freestyle stroke roll. The swimmer uses one arm to hold the foam handle out in front (rounded end pointing downwards), the other arm can then practise the freestyle stroke. Exchange sides after a couple of laps. As a side note, the design of the Turbo Bar reduces tension in the arms and shoulders when doing stroke kicking because thumbs are positioned downward. Latex free. Sold individually.
